We’ve all heard stories about the Mediterranean diet eating your protein from the bottom of your cup, but my wife and I have been surprised by how our diets have actually changed.
The Mediterranean diet is supposed to be a healthy way of eating that has a very low-calorie diet with a high amount of fruit, vegetables, fish, and proteins. It also contains olive oil, nuts, garlic, and some fish. As you can see, this kind of diet is very common and also very healthy. While we don’t agree with all of the foods on the Mediterranean diet, we like some of the fruits and vegetables.

This is because we have started eating a lot of high-calorie, unhealthy foods. This is also why we are getting all these extra pounds. While we are in the process of going from eating mostly healthy foods, we also have to start cutting out the foods that were so unhealthy when we first started eating them.
It makes sense that some of us have started eating less healthy foods. The reason is that we, like ourselves, are getting older. Also, because we are starting to gain weight after cutting out the unhealthy foods, we are eating more of these foods now than when we were younger. Well, that is true, but there is another reason why we have been eating more carbs in general. Because it is an easy way to feed your body. We eat more carbs every day because it is the cheapest way to feed our bodies and our wallets. The real reason why we have been eating more carbs is because it has been easier than sticking to a diet.
This is true also. People who are overweight have to pay for it with more health care costs. It is always easier to make a change when it is easier to do it. However, people who struggle with their weight and who are dealing with diabetes are more likely to become overweight or diabetic.
What is your favorite carb of choice? I myself tend to be on the “carb-heavy” end of the spectrum. My favorite carb of choice is butter. I am really not a fan of sugar. I would rather have a cupcake than a piece of sugar. However, I don’t eat much sugar right now and am trying to get back into a healthier mode. I have been trying to cut down on sugar and increase my carbs.
If you’re reading this and thinking “well that’s weird I can’t eat butter”, then you should know that we’re talking about a lot of butter products in the Mediterranean. I remember reading an article one time where someone was telling me about how they were using butter in cooking because it is so nutrient dense and fat-free.
I think this is a great question. The key is to figure out what types of fats and carbohydrates you want to be eating. For me, I am a bit of a carb freak since I am a dairy-free person. I have a hard time figuring out what I should be eating with a carb-heavy diet, so I eat a lot of complex carbs. Once I figure this out, it helps me with the carb issues because I know what to eat without a carb.
