This blog is a place where I share my thoughts, as well as some of my writing, my poetry, and some of my artwork. I love to share the things I’ve learned and the things I’ve experienced. Here, I just write about the things that are on my mind, the things that I love, and the things that make me happy.
I have seen the bar I share stories about in my own life as well as my writing, but I have never been there. I think I may need to take my writing in that direction.
For those who wish to explore some of that bar, feel free to do so. I’m sure I will be able to remember many of the things I have written down there, as well as share the stories I have experienced.
The bar is a good place to catch up on the latest in comedy, music, and video games. We like to go there a lot to listen to music as well as read stories. The bar also hosts a monthly podcast called Anytime Bars, which features two comedians and two writers. The comedy duo is called The Rude Brothers who are funny, but also very serious. The writers are Jenny Craig and Ryan McHenry who specialize in the paranormal.
The bar also features a nice spot where you can watch the latest trailers with the guys who made Deathloop.
It may seem odd to have a bar that’s a fun mix of music, comedy, and gaming, but we love to go out there and watch trailers and talk about the game. Plus it’s a great place to grab a drink while waiting for a game to finish loading, or when we’re waiting for their last trailer to be released.
You’re probably wondering “Doesn’t this just sound like one of those things where a game is just made to be made to be made?”, but in this case, it is. At least that’s how we see it. Deathloop is a game about getting a party started by helping out your favorite characters who are fighting for the top spot. It’s a game about killing as many Visionaries as we can and getting a reward for each one killed.
In Deathloop, the game’s story is set in a series of flashbacks that chronicle the characters of Blackreef. The game’s main character Colt is the head of the security team that watches over these Visionaries but something horrible happened to him and he went on a killing rampage. We saw the flashbacks with him as he was a teenager, so it is not as though we are able to see his actual personality. The game’s story is told through flashbacks we are not able to see.
