A lot of people think we can detoxify themselves when we do it. But it’s true.
The best way to detox from yourself is to actually be, well, you know, you. For example, if you’ve been drinking and you’ve done a detox cleanse, you are still very much in the same place. You might have lost your energy and motivation, but that’s about it. You’re not trying to be a better person. You’re not trying to be a better person to anybody. You’re just trying to rid yourself of the toxins you’ve ingested.
