I am a big fan of eating healthy. In fact, I have been for over a decade. However, I still find that there are foods that I eat more often that I could eat more often without causing problems. For instance, I do a lot of cooking. I love to eat out, and eat in. But I also love to eat at home.
When it comes to eating healthy, I have a pretty good handle on what I eat. But I like to keep it more simple. For any particular dish, I like to try to find the balance between a few ingredients. For instance, I don’t like to eat a lot of fish (especially big fish like tuna, salmon, mackerel, or my favorite, salmon-flavored tuna salad. I think it’s a little too salty for me).
But there is one food I have a hard time identifying with, and that is the carnivore diet. I am a big fan of meat, but I am not a fan of fish. I think it makes a lot of sense that a carnivore would avoid eating meat (which is a big part of what I do) and not to mention the fact that the carnivore diet is full of nuts and seeds.
So when I think of carnivore diet, I think of eating the whole animal, maybe taking a bite out of that cow or pig, or eating a piece of that chicken, or taking a bite out of that steak. But it’s not a diet I am particularly fond of. I have a hard time identifying with the carnivore diet in general, and have a hard time eating it as a daily regular.

I think we can all agree that a lot of omega-3 fatty acids are not the right kind. My guess is that carnivores have a harder time getting enough of them for their body’s needs, because it’s not a question of how many. It’s a question of where. There’s a saying that goes, “You need more omega-3s than meat” and I’m not sure I would agree with that statement.
