The reason for this is that people are eating more and more food, and they are not getting the fat they need. They are not getting enough calories and that is bad for you. If you are overweight or obese you need to start eating more foods that are good for you.
The biggest thing that makes up all the difference between gaining weight and losing it is the amount of calories youre eating. So to lose weight you need to eat fewer calories and do so in smaller amounts. For example, if youre eating a 1000 calorie diet you need to cut that to 600 calories or less. This is why it is so important to eat the right foods and eat them often to make sure youre staying well nourished.
